I was tired of how I felt.

I was seriously overweight, frequently sick, had skin problems, constant stomach pain and indigestion, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I lived on a diet of fast food, red meat, refined sugar, and bad carbs. My health was terrible and it negatively impacted every facet of my life including how I slept, how I interacted with other people and most importantly, how I felt about myself. My doctor warned me to make some changes or suffer the consequences.

After years of struggling with health problems I finally hit rock bottom. I couldn’t stand how I felt. I had nowhere to go but up.

I Made a Commitment to Rejuvenate My Life!

Thus began my exploration and study of healthy, clean eating and a lifestyle that includes regular exercise and meditation. I gave up a lot of bad habits along the way and food became my passion and my medicine. I began to investigate what foods made me feel good, gave me energy and improved my health.

I quickly discovered that a diet rich in whole, unprocessed foods including an abundance of organic fruits, vegetables and superfoods made me feel amazing! I became obsessed with juicing and creating smoothies that were packed with organic superfoods.

As a result of transitioning to a mostly plant-based diet, my life and health changed dramatically. I quickly began to lose weight, slept better every night and my cholesterol and blood pressure went back to normal levels.

So why did I create 40+ Nutrition (the name comes from the fact that I was over 40 when I had my rebirth into good health)? Simple. To share with you what I’ve discovered (and continue to discover) so that you can make informed decisions about the food you put in your body and reap the infinite rewards of good health! No matter what your age is, it’s never too late to start eating clean and healthy.


Important Considerations

Many of us spend so much time focused on family and career that we forget to take care of our bodies. Then one day we look in the mirror and realize we either need to make some healthy changes or stay trapped in an endless cycle of bad diet, bad choices and bad health.
